Love shoes? Who doesn’t? As one saying goes, “These shoes are made for the runway”.

There are few rules to this challenge. You must start with a wearable shoe of any style. You don’t have to be able to wear it but it has to be a real shoe. Then let your imagination run wild. Any shoe from stiletto to a work boot and anything in between qualifies. It can be a work shoe, stiletto, baby’s shoe, strappy sandal, flip-flops, boots, flats or moccasins. The idea is to take a shoe, any shoe, and create art. The techniques and materials you can use for your creation are limitless – collage, appliqué, paint, buttons, beads, etc.

Your entry must be your own original design created for FAC 2009 and must not have already been published in any print or online publication.
