Class Description
The
Fat Lady is one
of Barbara’s
new dolls in her
Victorian Circus
series. Delilah
has never been taught
so her “performance”
at FAC 2009 will
be her debut. This
doll is characteristic
of the Schoenoff
style – brightly
coloured, playful
and with a beautiful
face. Her soft sculptured
body offers a wonderful
opportunity
to learn some challenging
techniques.. Her
3 dimensional double
chin is so cute
and it will be fun
to learn the technique
for achieving this
effect. The fact
that she is both
fat and beautiful
is inspiring for
women. And, she
can be finished
in a 2 day class!
Techniques
to be Covered:
• Soft sculpting
her body and face
• Wire armature
• Successful
auditioning of fabrics
and trim
* Face painting
with water colour
